Auburn University public history faculty and students have developed a strong partnership with the Organization of American Historians and National Park Service to prepare research that advances public interpretation of national historic sites.
Since 2017, Auburn University and the National Park Service regional office in Atlanta have partnered to support two full-time project archivist positions who assist park units with identifying, cataloging, and preserving records.
